what is his plans for 2012. Does he have any chance?
Russian Wikipedia says “СМИ сравнивают Навального с Джулианом Ассанжем”Political News Writer answers:Given that he’s being compared to Giuliano Assange (criminal), I doubt that his chances are very good. I doubt that any viable political party is interested. Chances aren’t that good.Robert asks…Which Political Party has used Russian Propaganda more Republicans or American Communists in the last month?I have not seen 1 reference by a Democrat to Russian Propaganda in the last 6 months, I have seen direct quotes from Russian Propaganda over 25 times from Republicans in the last 10 days. So, my question stands which party has used more Russian Propaganda in the last month the American Communist Party or the Republican Party?
“Cap and Trade” has NOTHING to do with the use of Russian Propaganda, nor is there a link to it anywhere in this question.
“Why would either party propagate Russia?” Misdirection is all the Republicans on here today can try because they are afraid to look within their party and see the sabotage. And My question stands, Which Political Party has used Russian Propaganda more Republicans or the American Communist Party in the last month?Political News Writer answers:After a little Googling the funny answer is – Republicans by a mile. I could not find one reference by an American Communist or on their website to any Pravda or any other Russian article. Link: http://www.cpusa.org/Mary asks…Is political party “out choice” still exist in Russia? Is it still merged with Russian people democratic union? Is Irina, Khakamada, the founder, still with it?
Is it the party of opposition?
What is an opposition in Today’ Russia anyway?
thanks a lot.
Correction: “our choice” not outPolitical News Writer answers:I haven’t heard anything about Irina Hakamada for a long time. I suppose she refrained from active political activity. I am not sure whether that party still exists, but even if it does, it is not represented in the Russian Duma, so its opportunities to influence politics of the country are virtually zero.
Concerning the opposition in general – let’s start with the fact that Russian politics is dominated by the “United Russia” party, which is headed by the Prime-Minister Vladimir Putin and which has 315 seats in Duma (which secures it the “constitutional majority”).
All other parties are in opposition.
Three opposition parties are currently represented in the Duma:
-Communists (57 seats) – they stand for communism and left-wing nationalism
-Liberal-Democratic party (40 seats) – this is an ultra-nationalist party and it is headed by the most eccentric Russian politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky
-“Just Russia” party (38 seats) – something close to social-democratic party
